Job summary

STRATO Personal GmbH sucht für einen Kunden aus der Luft- und Raumfahrt einen Softwareentwickler (m/w/d) zur Gestaltung und Weiterentwicklung des Test- und Simulations-Frameworks in C++.

Zu den Aufgaben gehören die Entwicklung von Frontend-Komponenten, Softwarediensten und der Desktop Virtual Rig Environment sowie Unit-Tests, Code-Reviews und Integrationsarbeit mit realer Hardware. Englischkenntnisse sind erforderlich, Deutschkenntnisse sind gut.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder vergleichbarer Fachbereich.
• Ausgeprägte Programmierkenntnisse in C++ und ADA.
• Erfahrung in plattformübergreifender Softwareentwicklung und im Umgang mit Engineering-/Simulationsumgebungen.

Responsibilities

• Softwaredesign und -entwicklung für das Test- und Simulations-Framework mit C++.
• Entwicklung von Frontend-Komponenten, Softwarediensten und der Desktop Virtual Rig Environment.
• Durchführung von Unit-/Modul-Tests, Code-Reviews und Nutzung moderner Methoden der Softwareentwicklung.
• Unterstützung bei der Integration von Simulationsumgebungen mit realer Hardware und 2nd-Level-Support.
• Kundenunterstützung bei Anwendungsentwicklung und Systemtests sowie Mitarbeit an Optimierungsinitiativen.

Stellenbeschreibung

• Design and develop software for the Test and Simulation Framework using C++
• Develop frontend components, software services, and the Desktop Virtual Rig Environment
• Perform unit/module testing and code reviews while applying modern technologies and software development methods
• Contribute to Virtual Engineering by integrating simulation environments with real hardware, and provide 2nd-level support for products
• Support customers with application development and system testing, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and advise software teams on concepts and technologies

Anforderungsprofil

• Completed studies in the field of Computer Science
• Professional experience in the field of IT, Aerospace, Simulation, Avionic Software Development, Software Design, System Programming and Cross-platform development
• Excellent programming skills in C++ and ADA
• Fluent in English and proficient in German
