TARGOBANK AG & Co. KGaA in Duisburg sucht eine erfahrene IT-Fachkraft zur Weiterentwicklung unserer Mainframe‑Landschaft. In einem internationalen Team gestalten Sie die digitale Zukunft der Bank mit.

Sie arbeiten an COBOL‑basierter Software, optimieren DB2/IMS/CICS‑Anwendungen, erstellen/analysieren SQL‑Abfragen und setzen automatisierte Batch‑Prozesse mit TWS/OPC auf. Neben einer intensiven Einarbeitung bieten wir hybrides Arbeiten, eine faire Vergütung, eine betriebliche Altersvorsorge sowie

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in praktischer/informativer Informatik oder Ausbildung zum IT-Fachinformatiker.
• Berufserfahrung in Mainframe-Umgebung mit COBOL und Softwarekonzeption.
• Praxis in komplexen SQL-Abfragen sowie Performance-Analysen.
• Souveräner Umgang mit DB2 und verwandten Datenbanksprachen.

Aufgaben

Ihre Aufgaben

• Analyzing and extending existing software systems and applications in a heterogeneous, complex IT system environment based on an IBM mainframe architecture
• Extending and optimising existing systems and applications using DB2, IMS and CICS
• Software development with COBOL, SQL, JCL for mainframe software
• Creating and maintaining complex SQL queries for data retrieval
• Setting up automated batch processes within frameworks such as TWS / OPC
• IT project management and stakeholder management
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation for developed systems and applications

Ihr Profil

• Completed studies in practical / applied computer science or training as an IT specialist
• Experience in the mainframe environment with COBOL and in the conception of software as well as tuning options with practice in database modeling
• Practical experience with complex SQL queries as well as database performance analyses and their optimization
• Confident handling of database management systems, preferably DB2 and the associated database languages and tools
• Knowledge of the structures in TWS / OPC for setting up automated batch processes
• Practical experience in IT project management, e.g. process risk analysis, requirements management, business client communication
• Good English language skills, knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage
