Job summary

NAXCON GmbH is seeking a Software Developer to join our engineering and IT services team. You will develop, test, and document software components, primarily in C#, .NET, and WPF, and coordinate with senior developers on complex systems.

You will contribute to architecture discussions, assist with system integration, and travel worldwide as required. The position emphasizes English and German communication, quality coding, and proactive learning.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position: Software Developer

Type: Full-time

Tasks:

• Programming, testing, and analyzing software components, primarily in accordance with architectural specifications and/or in coordination with a Level 4 or Level 5 software developer
• Programming and testing of software components, in part based on design specifications
• Point of contact for Level 1 and Level 2 software developers
• Documentation of the software components under your responsibility
• Integration of software subsystems consisting of multiple softwarecomponents, including within the target system
• Support with system integration
• Software development with a focus on C#, .NET Framework, and WPF

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience in software development
• Very good written and spoken technical English and german skills
• Experience with the Git version control tool is a plus
• Good knowledge of the C# programming language
• Experience with .NET MAUI and UWP
• Several years of experience developing Windows applications using C#, .NET, WPF, and MVVM
• Several years of experience with Windows applications using C# and .NET
• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture
• Willingness to travel worldwide
• High level of commitment and initiative
• Quick learner with a strong grasp of complex software systems
