Zusammenfassung

Mental Health Hospital in Ealing is recruiting a Senior Social Worker to assess and review social care needs for adults with primary mental health needs under the Care Act. You will create person-centred, strengths-based support plans and undertake capacity assessments under the Mental Capacity Act.

The role involves completing Social Circumstances Tribunal reports, acting as Social Supervisor for conditionally discharged patients, and contributing to safeguarding enquiries.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with Care Act social care assessments and reviews.
• Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act capacity assessments.
• Familiarity with safeguarding processes and Court of Protection is helpful.
• Ability to work in safeguarding and duty coordination.

As a Senior Social Worker, you will bring your knowledge of legal frameworks, such as the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act, to make informed decisions for the residents of Ealing. Your ability to demonstrate professional curiosity and work in a strength-based manner is invaluable.

Experience with Court of Protection Schedule 21A challenges will be considered during the recruitment process. While driving is desirable, it is not essential.
