We’re looking for a social-native editor who lives and breathes visual storytelling — someone who scrolls, spots trends before they peak, and knows exactly how to make content feel "of the moment."

From fashion and beauty to lifestyle and sport, you’ll bring our clients’ stories to life across the platforms where culture happens in real time. You grew up with vertical video — you think in it, edit by instinct, and know how to make a TikTok or Reel hit before anyone explains the brief. You love the rush of seeing your edit blow up and the challenge of making the next one even better.

As part of HY.AM’s growing social and production team, you’ll cut, craft, and adapt content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — edits that feel native, emotional, and impossible to scroll past. Whether it’s a campaign film, creator collab, or behind-the-scenes reel, your work is made to reach millions of people and help shape culture.

What You’ll Do

• Edit across all social-first formats — from hero films and YouTube Shorts to TikToks and Reels.
• Cut fast, creatively, and confidently — you’ve done this hundreds of times, and it shows.
• Shape dynamic narratives with rhythm, emotion, and taste — optimised for mobile-first viewing.
• Work across footage sources (Sony, Blackmagic, iPhone, etc.) and keep visuals consistent.
• Implement feedback with precision and intent — always making the work better, never flatter.
• Work closely with creative leads, social strategists, and producers to define tone, rhythm, and storytelling.
• Jump in early — help plan shoots that are edit-friendly and creatively sharp.
• Propose transitions, cuts, and sound choices that elevate brand identity and creative flow.
• Bring proactive ideas to every project — from edit style to new motion formats.

Platform Expertise

• Tailor every edit to feel native — TikTok should feel TikTok; Instagram should feel Instagram.
• Stay ahead of editing trends, audio use, and platform shifts — you spot what’s next before it hits mainstream.
• Deliver multiple variations and cutdowns fast — balancing speed, craft, and creative intent.

Workflow & Delivery

• Keep projects organised — from file naming to versioning, no chaos here.
• Deliver exports on time, on spec, and optimised for each channel.
• Continuously refine workflows and share learnings with the wider creative team.

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of editing experience in a creative, social, or production environment.
• A profile or reel that shows storytelling range and platform-native craft — from quick Reels to narrative-driven edits.
• Fluency in CapCut, Edit, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects — whatever gets the story out fast.
• You’ve edited hundreds of Reels, TikToks, or Shorts — fast, intuitive, and with taste.
• Fluent in the rhythm of social platforms — you get what hooks, when to pause, and how to keep people watching.
• Deeply connected to culture — you live what’s shaping youth, fashion, sport, beauty, and pop moments right now.
• Strong affinity for branding and campaigns — you know how to keep content on-brand without losing energy.
• Collaborative mindset, clear communication, and calm under tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English (C1) and German (B1) (spoken and written).
