Ucaneo Biotech GmbH is seeking an experienced professional to own the simulation and process development of our DAC system in Berlin. You will work on creating, validating, and improving process models, directly impacting our innovative climate-tech project.

Your mission

You'll own the simulation and process development of our full DAC system — defining what needs to be tested, translating empirical findings into models, and turning those insights into robust scale-up decisions. Your work will lay the foundation for scaling and continuously improving our DAC technology.

Your profile

Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on separation technology or gas–liquid systems.
• Demonstrated experience in experimental design, process testing, and data analysis.
• Solid understanding of fluid dynamics, mass transfer, liquid distribution, and water management.
• Experience with AspenPlus, KGTower, or similar simulation tools.
• Familiarity with PFDs, P&IDs, H&MBs, and process safety documentation.
