Zusammenfassung

Westinghouse Electric Company in Mannheim is seeking a Site Technician D&D to support decommissioning and dismantling projects across Europe. Qualifikationen

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical work, assembly, welding, machining, or industrial maintenance.
  • Experience working from technical drawings and written procedures.
  • Technical vocational qualification or equivalent experience in Mechanical Maintenance, Welding, Machining, Industrial Maintenance, or related discipline.
  • Experience in nuclear power plants or regulated industrial environments.
  • Previous D&D experience.
  • Radiation Worker Training or equivalent nuclear qualifications.
  • Previous experience working away from home for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout Europe.
  • Willingness to work abroad up to three consecutive weeks per month throughout the year.
  • Ability to meet site access, medical, and fitness-for-duty requirements.
  • Demonstrate a strong safety-first mindset.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for assigned work.

About the role:

As a Site Technician D&D you will support Decommissioning & Dismantling (D&D) projects at nuclear facilities across Europe. The position involves hands‑on field activities including mechanical dismantling, segmentation, assembly, lifting operations, and support to reactor internals and reactor pressure vessel projects.

The role requires extensive travel and the ability to work abroad for extended periods in a highly regulated environment.

You will report to the Operations Manager Environmental Solutions and be located at Mannheim.
