Vestas is seeking a Side Supervisor (m/f/d) for main components to lead on-site technical activities across Germany. You will work with service teams, oversee replacements and repairs of major turbine components, and ensure smooth coordination with cranes and transport providers.

The role requires hands-on experience in electrical/mechatronic/mechanical fields, willingness to travel, and strong German language skills. A company car and continuous training are provided by Vestas.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering.
• Very good German and good English skills.
• Strong communication and assertiveness required.

Your responsibilities -here'swhere you can get involved!

• During the working week, you will be deployed across Germany, working alongside service teams of around seven technicians - while taking on on-site technical leadership
• Together with your team, you will be responsible for the replacement and repair of major components on wind turbines and actively support the work on-site
• You ensure smooth operations on site and coordinate the collaboration with external service providers, such as telescopic mobile crane and transport companies
• You document your work as well as site activities digitally
• You optimize workflows to increase efficiency
• You organize external service providers and large cranes and implement route studies

Your profile - what makes you a great fit!

• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend
• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
• You have relevant hands-on professional experience
• You can prepare and document technical reports independently
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and canoperatesafely above ground level
• You have a driving license B
• You have strong communication skills and good assertiveness
• Very goodGerman and good English skills round off your profile
