Drive the Delivery of Critical Power Infrastructure Projects

We are looking for an experienced Site Operations Manager to take a leading role in the construction and delivery of major High Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission line projects across Germany.

Key Responsibilities

Site Operations & Construction Management

• Lead and coordinate Site Managers and construction teams across multiple project locations.
• Oversee the day-to-day execution of HV and EHV transmission line construction activities.
• Act as the primary operational link between project management and field operations.
• Assess technical challenges on site and make timely, well-informed decisions to maintain project progress.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and project milestones to ensure successful delivery.

Resource Planning & Workforce Coordination

• Plan and allocate construction crews, supervisors, and field personnel.
• Coordinate the deployment of materials, equipment, tools, and specialized resources.
• Optimize workforce utilization and ensure resources are available when and where needed.
• Support project schedules through effective planning and operational coordination.
• Identify resource constraints and implement solutions to maintain project momentum.

Leadership, Safety & Operational Excellence

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to site-based teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Lead teams effectively under demanding schedules, changing site conditions, and challenging weather environments.
• Promote operational excellence and the highest standards of workmanship across all project activities.
• Support incident prevention initiatives and reinforce a strong safety-first culture.

Stakeholder & Project Support

• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment between all project stakeholders.
• Support problem-solving and risk mitigation activities throughout project execution.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of major transmission infrastructure projects that are critical to the energy transition.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Background

• Solid technical qualification as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Technician, Electrical Master, Construction Engineer, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in the construction, operations, or delivery of High Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission line projects.
• Strong understanding of overhead transmission line construction methodologies, field operations, and energy infrastructure projects.
• Ability to assess technical situations on site and make practical decisions under pressure.

Industry Experience

• Several years of experience delivering transmission line infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, workforce management, and operational planning within the transmission sector.
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in active construction environments.
• Experience working on utility, grid infrastructure, or major energy transmission projects is highly valued.

This role is exclusively focused on High Voltage and Extra High Voltage Transmission Lines.
