ServiceNow Developer (m/f/d) - North Rhine-Westphalia

Location: Duisburg (1 day per week in the office, potential for fully remote for the right candidate)

Client: Leading Multi-Channel Communication Service Provider in the Healthcare Sector

About the Role:

StaffHost digital are collaborating with a leading multi-channel communication service provider specialising in tailored services for health insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, pharmacies, and other key players in the healthcare industry. This company is investing heavily in its digital transformation, and as part of their strategy, they are looking to strengthen their team with a skilled ServiceNow Developer.

In this role, you will work on the internal ServiceNow platform, which is the cornerstone of their entire digitalisation strategy. This company plans to leverage additional ServiceNow module capabilities to automate workflows, streamline operations, and reduce costs. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in their ongoing transformation, helping them maximise the value of ServiceNow.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform, primarily focusing on back-end development
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Enhance existing workflows and build new automation features to increase operational efficiency
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure best practices are followed in platform architecture and development
• Assist in the configuration and integration of additional ServiceNow modules to extend functionality

What You Bring to the Table:

• 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, including working with back-end systems
• Strong experience with ServiceNow platform development (custom applications, integration, scripting)
• Expertise in back-end development on ServiceNow (e.g., Business Rules, Script Includes, APIs, and Data Integration)
• Fluency in German (both written and spoken) to communicate effectively with internal teams
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards in your work
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges

Additional skills:

• Experience with ServiceNow modules beyond ITSM (e.g., HRSD, ITOM, CSM)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
