Zusammenfassung

Unit4 is seeking a senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, integrate, test, and support scalable, secure solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate with the Practice Lead, analysts, architects, business owners, and other teams to translate requirements into effective platform solutions.

You will also contribute to development standards, platform stability, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow capabilities, including AI-enabled workflows and Now Assist.

Qualifikationen

  • Hands-on ServiceNow development experience required.
  • Experience with ITSM, CSM, HRSD, or related modules.

Aufgaben

  • Design, develop, configure, test, and support ServiceNow applications and workflows.
  • Build and enhance ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, CMDB, App Engine, and Now capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
  • Develop integrations with REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, webhooks, import sets, and transform maps.
  • Create workflow automation using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Service Catalog, and other platform capabilities.
  • Support the adoption of Now Assist and AI-enabled workflows, ensuring appropriate controls, testing, monitoring, and human oversight.
  • Promote standard ServiceNow functionality and reusable solutions while minimizing unnecessary customization and technical debt.
  • Perform code reviews, automated testing, release validation, and troubleshooting of complex platform issues.
  • Support platform upgrades, production deployments, technical documentation, and operational handover.
  • Mentor other developers and contribute to strong engineering standards and continuous platform improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve user experience, automate manual processes, and deliver measurable business value.
  • Strong hands‑on experience developing and supporting solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, APIs, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, ServiceNow Studio, or App Engine Studio.
  • Experience with ITSM and at least one additional ServiceNow product, such as CSM, HRSD, SPM, or App Engine.
  • Experience with Now Assist, Virtual Agent, or other ServiceNow AI and automation capabilities.
  • Proven experience building integrations using REST, SOAP, webhooks, or equivalent technologies.
  • Good understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data models, scoped applications, ACLs, security, and development best practices.
  • Experience with code reviews, testing, release management, platform upgrades, and production support.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions and explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

ServiceNow is a strategic enterprise platform at Unit4, supporting internal operations, employee and customer services, workflow automation, and our wider digital transformation agenda.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and supporting secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

This is a hands‑on senior technical role. You will work closely with the ServiceNow Practice Lead, business analysts, architects, business owners, and other development teams to translate business requirements into effective platform solutions.

You will also contribute to technical standards, development quality, platform stability, and the continuous improvement of our ServiceNow capabilities.

What you will do
  • Design, develop, configure, test, and support ServiceNow applications and workflows.
