Zusammenfassung

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician to perform on-site servicing and maintenance of wind turbines at our Nienburg location. You will work in a team, service generators across turbine types, identify defects, and develop repair instructions while documenting your work digitally.

Travel within Germany is expected during the workweek. Ideal candidates hold vocational training in electrical/ mechanical fields or an equivalent technical qualification, with very good German and good English skills,

Qualifikationen

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, metalworking, mechanical or automotive engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid driving licence, ideally BE.
• Very good German and good English skills.
• Willingness to travel within Germany during the workweek.

Aufgaben

• Carry out on-site servicing and maintenance to ensure wind turbines operate reliably.
• Service generators across common turbine types, sometimes with subcontractors.
• Identify defects, narrow down causes, and classify damage.
• Develop repair solutions, processes and instructions in generator field.
• Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

Your responsibilities –here'swhere you can get involved!

You ensure our wind turbinesoperatereliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance

Working as part of a team (at least two people),you service generators across all common turbine types, sometimes in cooperation with subcontractors

You independentlyidentifydefectsin generators, accurately narrow them down, and classify them into damage categories

You develop complex repair solutions,processesand instructions within the generator field

You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, metalworking, mechanical and automotive engineering, building services engineering orhave a comparable technical qualification

You can prepare and document technical reports independently

You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend

You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP

You are comfortable working at heights and canoperatesafely above ground level

You have a driving licence, ideally class BE
