Vestas is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) for wind turbines near Kassel. You will perform on-site servicing to keep turbines running and work in a team to service generators across turbine types.

You'll identify defects, classify damage and develop repair solutions while documenting work digitally. The ideal candidate has vocational training in electrical or related fields, is willing to travel across Germany during the week, and speaks very good German with good English.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Willingness to travel within Germany during the week and return home on weekends.
• Very good German and good English skills are required.

Your responsibilities –here'swhere you can get involved!

You ensure our wind turbinesoperatereliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance

Working as part of a team (at least two people),you service generators across all common turbine types, sometimes in cooperation with subcontractors

You independentlyidentifydefectsin generators, accurately narrow them down, and classify them into damage categories

You develop complex repair solutions,processesand instructions within the generator field

You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, metalworking, mechanical and automotive engineering, building services engineering orhave a comparable technical qualification

You can prepare and document technical reports independently

You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend

You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP

You are comfortable working at heights and canoperatesafely above ground level

You have a driving licence, ideally class BE

Very goodGerman and good English skills round off your profile
