Vestas GmbH in Germany is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) to maintain and service wind turbines across the region, delivering reliable operation and responsible work in a field with innovation and accountability.

You will join a team, work on-site, be home again in the evening, and benefit from a comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training at the Vestas Academy, and the chance to qualify as an electrician (DIN VDE 0105-100) while using state-of-the-art wind energy technology.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology.
• Region-based work location with daily home return.
• Familiar with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps; SAP experience preferred.
• Willing to work at heights and operate safely.
• Valid Class B driver’s license (Class BE support possible).
• Very good German and good English skills.

Aufgaben

• Carry out on-site servicing and maintenance of wind turbines.
• Repair turbines and resolve faults as part of a two-person team.
• Analyze electronic and mechanical error messages to identify causes.
• Implement modification measures to improve turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

Your responsibilities – here’s where you can get involved!

You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance.

Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults.

You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause.

You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance.

You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or have a comparable technical qualification.

Your place of work will vary within your region – you will usually be home again in the evening.

You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP.

You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level.

You have a valid Class B driver’s licence (financial support for Class BE may be available).

Very good German and good English skills round off your profile.
