• Practical knowledge of torque cells and rotary encoders — including their working principles, error influences, and calibration requirements
• Proficiency in MATLAB for measurement data processing, applying the fundamental mathematics of signal processing and statistics

You will work with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and systems engineers within the Actuation Group. The ideal candidate brings hands-on test bench experience for drive systems, strong measurement and data-processing fundamentals, and a passion for translating test results into actionable design guidance.

Key job responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with motor characterization (efficiency mapping, cogging-torque analysis, thermal correlation)
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (LabVIEW, Python) or hardware-in-the-loop setups
• Understanding of measurement uncertainty analysis (GUM) and calibration procedures
• Experience working in robotics, automotive, or aerospace test environments
