Job summary

Keyfactor in Aachen, Germany (Hybrid) is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test scripts for critical features and to lead automation efforts across projects.

You will trouble shoot failures, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with development and QA teams to improve coverage and performance of automation frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in test automation or software development with a focus on testing.
• Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages.
• Ability to lead complex projects and influence decisions.
• Collaborates across teams, mentors junior engineers, and optimizes automation.

About the position

The Senior Test Automation Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for critical product features. This role involves leading automation efforts, troubleshooting test failures, and optimizing test coverage.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, experience with scripting languages, and problem-solving abilities.
