eRC System in Ottobrunn, Germany, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer – Flight Control to own the system-level architecture, requirements, and integration of the Flight Control System (FCS), ensuring safety, reliability, and certifiability for aircraft.

You will drive requirements from definition through integration, verification, and flight testing, collaborating with control law, avionics, software, and mechanical teams, with strong emphasis on safety-critical processes.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in flight control or aerospace systems engineering.
• Strong understanding of FCS architectures, actuation and sensing.
• Experience with safety-critical development processes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Senior Systems Engineer – Flight Control , you will own the system-level architecture, requirements, and integration of our Flight Control System (FCS), ensuring safe, reliable, and certifiable aircraft behavior. You will be responsible for the definition and integration of the FCS, including its architecture, actuation, sensing, and interfaces to other aircraft systems. Working closely with control law, avionics, software, and mechanical teams, you will drive the system from requirements definition through integration, verification, and flight testing.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Define and maintain system requirements and airworthy architectures for the Flight Control System, including actuation, sensing, and interfaces.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in flight control systems, systems engineering, or a comparable aerospace environment.
• Strong experience in aerospace product development and requirements-driven systems engineering.
• Solid understanding of Flight Control System architectures, including actuation and sensing.
• Experience with safety-critical development processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and target-oriented approach.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
