OHB Digital Connect GmbH in Bremen sucht einen Systems Engineer (m/w/d) für Satelliten-Grundsysteme. Sie arbeiten an Anforderungen, Systemarchitektur und dem Design von Raumsystemen, koordiniert Schnittstellen und führen System-Reviews durch.

Sie bringen ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Physik/Mathematik/Engineering mit und verfügen über Erfahrung in verschiedenen System-Engineering-Disziplinen sowie Teamkoordination und cost-minded thinking.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium (Physik, Mathematik, Ingenieurwesen oder vergleichbar).
• Fundierte Expertise in der technischen Auslegung und Architektur von Raumsystemen.
• Erfahrung in mindestens einem System-Engineering-Bereich (Mission Analysis, System Design, Interface oder Requirements Engineering).

Responsabilités

• Verantwortung für System- und Subsystem-Anforderungen im jeweiligen Engineering-Bereich.
• Definition, Bewertung und Weiterentwicklung von Entwurfskonzepten unter Kosten-, Zeit- und Risikogernzen.
• Unterstützung von System-Design-Reviews, Verifikationsplanung und Budgetvorbereitung auf Systemebene.
• Erstellung von Testspezifikationen, Unterstützung von Tests und Auswertung der Prüfergebnisse.
• Unterstützung von Start-, LEOP- und IOT-Phasen sowie Umsetzung von Design- und Vertragsänderungen.

Systems Engineer (m/f/d) - Satellite Ground Systems

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for system and subsystem requirements within the respective system engineering domain, including correct derivation, formulation, cost impact, and verification effort Coordination of system and architecture interfaces and management of design and development activities
• Definition, evaluation, and evolution of design concepts considering cost, schedule, risk, and reuse of proven design solutions
• Support and execution of system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR), verification planning, and preparation of technical budgets at system level
• Preparation of test specifications, support of test procedures and execution, and evaluation of test results for requirements verification
• Support of launch, LEOP, and IOT phases as well as implementation of approved design and contractual changes (e.g. RFW, RFD, CCN)

Your Qualifications

• University degree (e.g. Bachelor´s, Master’s or PhD) in physics, mathematics, engineering, or a comparable qualification Profound expertise in the technical design and architecture of space systems, space hardware, and their subsystems
• Demonstrated experience in at least one system engineering domain such as mission analysis, system design, system analysis, interface or requirements engineering, verification & validation, or engineering coordination
• Strong interpersonal skills with high willingness to collaborate, flexibility in addressing technical challenges, and a strong team mindset
• Personal integrity, fairness, and a professional and reliable attitude
• Ability to technically lead and coordinate teams, combined with innovative thinking, sound decision‑making, and a holistic, cost‑and solution‑oriented approach
