Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in system administration and IT infrastructure management.
• 5-7 years of experience leading projects and supporting highly secure IT infrastructure environments.
• Exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving under pressure, project management capabilities, and strong verbal communication.
• Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange Offline and identity services.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and switching.
• Knowledge of backup solutions (e.g., Veeam).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with modern databases (especially timeseries e.g. InfluxdB).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• High attention to detail and strong security awareness

Tasks and Responsibilities:

The Spaceopal Senior System Administrator is responsible for designing, maintaining, securing, and optimizing an organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, reliability, security of servers, network, cloud services and enterprise systems while providing technical leadership and support to IT operations.

This role includes leading and administering infrastructure projects, automating operational processes, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and providing advanced technical support to company employees to resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related problems efficiently.

• Administer servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and firewalls. Ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor infrastructure health and application performance. Analyze logs, troubleshoot outages, and improve reliability.
