Zusammenfassung

AECOM is seeking a Structural Lead Engineer for substations, switchyards and electrical infrastructure projects in Germany. You will serve as the engineer of record, perform design calculations, and develop analytical models for steel and concrete structures while coordinating with the civil/structural design team.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, 6 years of relevant experience, and PE licensure.

• Act as the structural lead and engineer of record for substations, switchyards, and other electrical infrastructure projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop analytical models for structural steel and concrete design.
• Coordinate with civil/structural design team to direct completion of engineering drawings and develop group standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field plus 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in structural design for overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems, including substation projects.
• Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) required.

Preferred Experience:

• 10 years of experience with at least 3 years as structural engineering lead/engineer of record.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD packages and structural analysis software (e.g., Staad.PRO, SAP2000).
• Experience with full EPC, Design/Build projects and various voltage levels.
• Remote work flexibility with occasional travel to AECOM locations and client sites.
