Zusammenfassung

GFT is seeking a design engineer for high-voltage substations (34.5kV–500kV) to design, document, and oversee projects with emphasis on safety, cost, quality and reliability.

You will generate general arrangement, elevation, grounding and conduit drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStation, review installations, and ensure conformance to design specifications and standards such as NESC, NEC, IEEE and ANSI.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of substation or T&D design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Knowledge of NESC, NEC, IEEE and ANSI codes and spacing.
• Ability to develop construction documents and interpret calculations.

• Thorough knowledge of codes such as NESC, NEC, IEEE, and ANSI, and substation equipment and spacing requirements.
• Ability to develop complete construction documents and interpret engineering calculations to apply to design.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range of $77,000 to $100,000 dependent on experience and location.
