We are seeking a Space Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Stuttgart, Hamburg, Leverkusen, Bad Homburg, Ulm, Nuremberg or Munich. This role is integral to the design and construction phases of our complex facilities, particularly within the life sciences and advanced technology sectors.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinate design aspects across disciplines and cover technical aspects to a certain degree
- Participate in layout development, defining functional areas with discipline leads, and determining the design of shafts, bridges, pipe racks, system distribution, equipment layout arrangement, media tunnels, and maintenance platforms
- Ensure all MEP requirements are communicated, coordinated, and tracked for implementation in the CSA scope, considering not only layout but also loads, technical requirements, etc.
- Collaborate with disciplines, project manager, design manager, vendors, and 3D designer leads, providing feedback on design quality, highlighting critical issues, and ensuring attention is given where needed
- Establish conceptual guidelines for the 3D design team, ensuring these concepts, including the configuration of elements like shafts, pipe racks, bridges, media tunnels, etc., are incorporated into their work
- Support construction management and field engineering during execution phase
- Enhance safety, constructability, and maintainability of the design outcome
Show your expertises
- Experience in plant design and understanding of various disciplines
- Technical understanding, preferably an engineer in one of the MEP disciplines or CSA
- Proficiency in analyzing design data in various forms such as layout documents, PDFs, text, and 3D models
- Strong coordination skills with integral thinking and planning
- Good knowledge of English and German
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with Revit, BIM Track, and AutoCAD
- Open-mindedness towards AI in engineering and design
- Interest in innovation and future methodologies
