Job summary

Mettler-Toledo GmbH is seeking a Senior Software Product Manager (m/f/x) to own the strategy, profitability, and lifecycle of its retail device asset management software solutions. You will blend market insights with customer needs and technical innovation to deliver profitable software products for global markets.

You will work closely with R&D, sales, service, marketing, and international subsidiaries to guide product direction from concept to market success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Several years (3-5 years) of experience in software product management.
• Understanding of software integrations, cloud and enterprise software environments.
• Experience with agile methodologies, requirement management, and product lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Owns the business strategy and lifecycle of retail software products, including revenue growth and roadmap planning.
• Collaborates with software development, marketing, sales, service, and international subsidiaries.
• Presents software and features to sales teams and customers; supports sales in complex offerings.
• Plans and manages marketing communications and product positioning.
• Provides regular reporting on product performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

• Full business ownership for the retail software product, including revenue growth, profitability, pricing strategy, roadmap and lifecycle cost optimization. Conduct market and competitive analyses to derive strategic product decisions.
• Collaborate closely with software development, marketing, sales, service, and global subsidiaries.
• Presentations of the software and features to sales organizations and customers. Support sales in complex software offerings and customized solutions.
• Plan and manage marketing communication and product positioning.
• Provide regular reporting on product performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
