Circana is seeking a Middle-Senior Engineer to join our backend team. You will develop robust Python scripts, maintain Linux shell workflows, and optimize data pipelines in a production environment.

You will collaborate with international teams on data extraction, validation, and transformation, build reusable modules, review code, and help ensure data quality and reliability at scale. You should be comfortable with ETL concepts, SQL databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL, and Linux/Unix

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years hands-on Python and Shell scripting experience.
• Proficiency with Python and Linux scripting (incl. awk).
• Experience with ETL development, data validation, and data integration.
• Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Ability to debug complex data pipelines and optimize performance.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Strong Linux/Unix background.
• Strong Windows/Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
• Good/very good knowledge of English.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Middle-Senior Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work on backend systems, automation, and data processing solutions. The role involves developing robust scripts, maintaining existing systems, migration and optimizing data workflows in a production environment. We are searching for a self-motivated individual with a passion for enhancing and optimizing technical solutions not only in Python, also in Shell language in Linux environment.
