Jobbeschreibung

Stellenbeschreibung

Intro

Our mission is to prevent vision loss and ultimately blindness by developing AI software that assists eye doctors in therapy planning for their patients. We use computer vision deep learning models (AI) trained on thousands of cases and millions of images to identify and predict disease progression. The decision support algorithm targets popular eye diseases like Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), affecting 7.5 million people in Germany alone.

Tasks

Your responsibilities

Your main task is to develop medical software in compliance with our medical Quality Management System (QMS). You will introduce processes, tools, and methodologies to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates. You will work closely with software developers to enable continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of tested, reliable code.

Requirements

What we are looking for

You must-haves

  • 4+ years of experience in Python and at least 1 other system programming language
  • Experience in software architecture, design patterns, development, releases, database management, networking, and cybersecurity
  • Good understanding of cloud architecture, cloud deployment, GPU usage, REST API, and authentication mechanisms

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in computer science, physics, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with medical device software development following QMS/SOPs for patient safety and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with CI/CD and software test automation (unit, integration, system testing)
  • Working-level English (C1 or higher)

Benefits

We offer a competitive payment package, a startup culture, an international team, high responsibility for your projects, fast personal growth, flexible working hours, remote work options, and a central office in Munich’s startup hub. Your work will have a direct impact on improving patients' quality of life.

Closing

Reach out to us with your availability, salary expectations, and a link to your profile (GitHub, LinkedIn, CV). A motivation letter is not required, but if you wish, share 2-3 sentences about why you want to help prevent blindness with AI.
