Doodle is seeking a backend-focused engineer to design, build, and deploy high-performance services in Java, with attention to scalability and reliability. You will work on a polyglot stack, include GraphQL APIs, and integrate with Kafka-based data pipelines.

You are encouraged to leverage AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development. You will own critical backend components, read and understand large codebases, and collaborate across teams to shipping impactful features that improve

Qualifications

• Strong backend experience with production systems
• Experience with distributed architectures and microservices
• Familiarity with GraphQL and API design
• Proficiency in Java (and/or Go)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS
