Understanding Recruitment is partnering with a leading European tech company in Munich to hire a Senior Software Engineer (AI Computer Vision | C++). You will develop computer vision algorithms and deploy them across devices, from autonomous submarines to UAVs.

Required deep C++ knowledge, experience deploying AI/vision models on embedded platforms (NVIDIA Jetson, ARM, FPGAs), ROS2, and OpenCV with a proven track record bringing features from prototype to production.

Qualifikationen

• Deep C++ knowledge required; dominant language for the role.
• Experience deploying AI and vision models on embedded platforms (Jetson, ARM, FPGAs).
• ROS2 experience and computer vision expertise including object detection, tracking, navigation.

Senior Software Engineer (AI Computer Vision | C++)

85,000 - 110,000 + Benefits + Relocation Package (Up to 5,000 Euro)

We are partnered with one of the most exciting companies in Europe that are designing and building autonomies systems. They're a duel-use company operating in Defense and commercially in areas such as Farming, and Mapping.

The company are building out a brand-new team that are being tasked with developing computer vision algorithms and deploying these onto their large catalog of devices. This is a unique opportunity within the company to work across almost all of their devices, ranging from autonomous submarines through to unmanned arial systems.

Requirements:

• Deep C++ knowledge. This is over 80% of the position. Realistically this will have to be your dominant language.
• Experience deploying AI and Computer Vision models on NVIDIA Jetson or comparable embedded platforms (ARM, FPGAs, or custom SoCs).
• ROS2 experience
• Computer Vision expertise: object detection, tracking, visual navigation, OpenCV, traditional + deep learning approaches
• Proven track record bringing complex features from prototype to production

Bonus Points for:

• Drone / UAV / robotics projects (perception stack, visual navigation)
