Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Senior Software System and Product Architect in our Digital Solutions team. You will lead architecture for our core and extended services supporting In-Center therapy and operational management, with oversight across Cloud Platforms, Edge Computing, HealthTech IoT, Medical Devices, and EHR integrations.

This fixed-term role runs through March 2028. You will define domain boundaries, drive modular architecture, and guide teams including Product Owners and Tech

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information/Digital Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in a similar architecture-focused role.
• Strong orientation to adopt innovative digital/tech solutions.
• Strategic and globally minded, collaborates effectively across audiences.

• Determine architecture split into domains to create meaningful, reliable modules in an agile, fast way.
• Segregate medical and non-medical device functionality for fast, independent development cycles.
• Provides engineering expertise in software architecture and methodologies.

As a Senior Software System and Product Architect within Digital Solutions, you will be responsible for leading and architecting the software that underpins our entire software portfolio. The primary focus of this role is on the core and extended services that support In‑Center therapy and operational management. In addition, the role includes architectural leadership across Cloud Platforms, Edge Computing, HealthTech IoT, Medical Devices, and EHR integrations following industry standards. Please note that this is a fixed-term role until March 2028.

Your Responsibilities:

• Determine architecture split into domains that segregates the digital ecosystem into meaningful functional components, and provide functionally reach, reliable modules according to architectural framework in an agile, fast way

• Segregate medical and non-medical device functionality into components to enable fast and independent development cycles

• Provides engineering expertise in software architecture and methodologies

• Works with Product Owners, System of System Architects, Tech Leads, Heads of development to define future proof software system and product architecture

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information/Digital Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

• Minimum 8+ years in a similar role focused on platform and product architecture development and management

• Strong technology orientation with the ability to anticipate and adopt innovative digital and technology solutions

• Strategic and globally minded professional who collaborates effectively, communicates clearly across audiences, makes timely high-quality decisions, and drives innovation to translate future opportunities into impactful strategies

• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft stack (.NET, C#), microservices and event-driven architectures, containers (OCI, Docker), Kubernetes, React, relational and document databases, Azure cloud, shell scripting, basic networking and virtualization, and development tools such as Windows, Linux etc.

• Professional working proficiency in English
