Zusammenfassung

Graphcore seeks a SoC Architect to define specification, modelling and integration of high-performance sub-systems for AI accelerators. You will collaborate with architecture, silicon design, verification, hardware and software teams to deliver cutting-edge AI compute platforms.

The role requires a degree inElectronic Engineering or Computer Science, strong understanding of SoC architecture, and experience with RTL development and verification.

• Solid understanding of computer/SoC architecture.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good experience in the writing of technical specifications.
• Knowledge of RTL development and verification processes.

Aufgaben

• Distilling product requirements and their effects on SoC/platform design trade-offs.
• Collaborating with processor, SoC and system architects to determine optimal solutions.
• Understanding how to collaborate with silicon design, verification, and hardware engineers to demonstrate correctness.
• Evaluating potential hard and soft third-party IP and liaising with IP vendors.
• Design and specification of performant SoC sub-systems and their integrations.
• Contribute to silicon bring-up, characterization and evaluation activities as required.
• Silicon Architecture Team representation within cross-functional working groups.
• Implement improvements to infrastructure and processes.
• Assist with complex debugging activities.
• Mentors Engineers with technical queries.

Reporting to the Director ofSilicon Architecture, the SoC Architectsareresponsible forthe design,specification,modellingand integrationof sub-systemswithincomplex,highperformanceand highly integrated silicondevicesat the forefront of AI acceleration technology.

The role involvesclosecollaboration with othergroups, includingarchitecture,silicon design,verification,hardwareand softwareteams.

The Team

The Silicon Architecture Teamsits within theCOOgroup.The SoC architectsareresponsible forthe architectural specification,integration,modelling,validationand evaluationofnumerouscriticalsub-systems,including high-speed interfacesforourupcomingAI acceleration platforms.
