Responsibilities

• Support spacecraft validation and verification on system level


• Define test specifications for system level tests and verification


• Coordinate system engineering activities


• Work in collaboration with Architects and Subsystem engineers:
  
  
  
  • Perform analyses of satellite functional and interface requirements
  
  
  • Flow down of the satellite requirements to subsystem level specifications
  
  
  • Ensure compliance to the satellite technical requirements
  
  
  • Define the satellite configuration and manage the satellite internal and external interfaces
  
  
  • Support of generation the AIT plans and operation plans
  
  
  • Supervise preparation of satellite tests and review of test results
  
  
  • Preparation for launch and flight phases
  
  
  • Support maintenance of spacecraft data bases and simulators
  
  
  • Contribute to the project risk management for risks of technical nature
  
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, physics or equivalent


• Professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in phases AB and in the field of verification


• Experience in technical negotiations with the customer


• Self-managed and proactive working style


• Ability to work with and implement processes


• Ability to work in a team and to coordinate a team


• Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German and other language skills advantageous
