Job summary

Westernacher Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) consultant to join our TM practice in Germany. You will work on end-to-end SAP TM implementations across industries within an international consulting team.

The role involves owning functional workstreams, translating business requirements into SAP TM designs, and collaborating with customers and cross-functional SAP teams. A hybrid working model and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of SAP TM consulting experience.
• Experience across at least three full SAP implementations.
• Strong SAP TM configuration and solution design skills.
• Excellent German and good English communication.
• Willingness to travel based on project needs.
• Good understanding of end-to-end transportation and logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end transportation management processes using SAP TM.
• Own functional workstreams from requirements to go-live support.
• Translate business requirements into SAP TM solutions and specs.
• Facilitate customer workshops and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with customers, developers, and SAP teams for integrated solutions.

Join Westernacher’s SAP Transportation Management practice and help leading companies transform complex transportation and logistics processes. You will work on end-to-end SAP TM implementations across different industries, contributing your expertise within an experienced international consulting team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end transportation management processes using SAP TM.
• Take ownership of functional workstreams, from requirements analysis and solution design through configuration, testing and go-live support.
• Translate business requirements into practical SAP TM solutions and functional specifications.
• Facilitate customer workshops, evaluate solution options and provide clear recommendations for process improvement.
• Collaborate with customers, developers and cross-functional SAP teams to ensure integrated, high-quality solutions.
• Plan and deliver project work packages while contributing to knowledge sharing and the development of less experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• At least 5 to 7 years of relevant SAP TM consulting experience.
• Functional expertise demonstrated across at least three full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Strong SAP TM configuration and solution design skills.
• Good understanding of end-to-end transportation and logistics processes, supported by relevant cross-module knowledge.
• Excellent German and good English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
