Senior Robotics Software Engineer – Behavior Trees (f/m/x)

Responsibilities:

• You design and develop sophisticated robot behaviors using Behavior Trees.
• You integrate software components into our robotics software stack.
• You improve our robot diagnostics and error‑handling system.
• You maintain and enhance our internal robotics codebase.
• You provide expert support to customers developing robot behaviors.
• You act as an internal subject‑matter expert for robotics‑related inquiries.

Requirements:

• You have an M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
• You bring more than three years of professional experience in software engineering.\
• You are strongly proficient in Python and ROS on Linux platforms.
• You approach challenges with a proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
• You demonstrate excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• You are fluent in English, and your proficiency in German is a valuable plus.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • You are familiar with the design and implementation of behavior trees.
  • You have knowledge of C++ and Prolog or other logic programming languages.
  • You can communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • You have worked with PostgreSQL and/or Django.
