Your role

Help bring next-generation formulation materials to scale by building quality and reliability into products and processes from development through high-volume manufacturing. You’ll work hands‑on with R&D, process scale‑up, QC, supply chain, facilities, and manufacturing teams to identify customer and process risks early in new product introduction. You’ll guide risk mitigation, change control, and continuous improvement so products and processes are ready for reliable commercialization and sustained performance. You’ll ensure disciplined analytics and effective process controls are in place to monitor product and process health. As a voice of the customer, you’ll help cross‑functional teams resolve issues quickly, assess deviations rigorously, and minimize customer impact. You’ll lead structured problem solving and effective corrective and preventive actions, while helping teams identify abnormal events and sources of variation. You’ll strengthen a proactive quality culture, contribute to site audits, and champion improvements that keep pace with semiconductor customers’ needs. You’ll collaborate across sites and time zones, with travel to global manufacturing locations and, when needed, customer sites.

Who You Are
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or another technical discipline.
  • You bring at least eight years of experience in chemical manufacturing, process or control engineering, analytical chemistry, and/or semiconductor fabrication.
  • You communicate excellently in written and spoken English.
  • You have a safety‑ and quality‑focused approach to process controls, risk assessment, and reducing variation; semiconductor industry experience, particularly in fab process engineering, is an advantage.
  • You have working knowledge of SPC and statistical methods such as t‑tests, ANOVA, and univariate or multivariate modeling.
  • You have experience with quality and problem‑solving methods such as 5 Whys, segmentation, model‑based problem solving, FMEAs, CAPA, change management, continuous improvement, and document control.
  • You are comfortable with data and process‑improvement tools such as JMP, Palantir Foundry, Tableau, Python, JSL, or SAP; experience with data automation, digitization, and ISO 9001 quality systems is valued.
  • You build strong cross‑functional relationships, motivate others, and stay organized, attentive to detail, and resilient through ambiguity; auditor or Six Sigma certification and additional languages are a plus.
