European Tech Recruit in Lower Saxony, Germany seeks a Senior Quality Engineer/Manager to own the QM system at our client’s manufacturing site. You will lead a small quality team, drive compliance with industry standards, and coordinate audits with senior management.

You bring 7+ years in quality across aerospace, automotive, or mechanical engineering, with a QMR or auditor certification and proven leadership in regulated manufacturing.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of quality experience across electrical, aerospace, aviation, automotive, or mechanical engineering.
• Certified Quality Management Representative, Internal/External Auditor, or equivalent — aerospace/automotive/rail/industrial manufacturing frameworks welcomed (e.g. IATF 16949, EN 9100, ISO 9001, IRIS/ISO 22163).
• Hands-on leadership in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong grounding in QM systems, methods, and technical documentation.

Senior Quality Engineer / Manager (m/f/d)

As Quality Manager (m/f/d), you will report directly to senior management and take ownership of the quality management system at our client's manufacturing site. You will ensure quality processes are implemented effectively, lead the quality team, and serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders both inside and outside the organisation.

The Role

• Plan, organise, and oversee the quality management system in accordance with relevant industry standards.
• Maintain and continuously improve the standards set out in the quality management manual
• Own the development, upkeep, and documentation of the QM system
• Prepare for, conduct, and support both internal and external audits
• Investigate root causes of non-conformities and define and implement corrective measures
• Lead and develop a small team of quality professionals
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and quality improvement circles
• Report annually to senior leadership on the effectiveness and compliance of the QM system

About You

• 7+ years of Quality experience across electrical, aerospace, aviation, automotive, or mechanical engineering.
• Certified Quality Management Representative, Internal/External Auditor, or equivalent — experience within aerospace, aviation, automotive, rail, or industrial manufacturing quality frameworks welcomed (e.g. IATF 16949, EN 9100, ISO 9001, IRIS/ISO 22163, etc..)
• Several years of hands‑on experience in a quality management leadership role within a regulated manufacturing environment.
