Qualifikationen

• Practical experience testing online games incl. slots, scratchcards, or instant-win mechanics.
• Understanding of RTP, volatility, and win frequency in slot games.

• Familiarity with QA standards and compliance for regulated markets (Germany, UK, MGA).
• Experience with frontend automation using Playwright and TypeScript is a plus.

As a (Senior) Quality Assurance Engineer (f/m/d) in our Games Production Team, you will ensure the quality, functionality, and security of our growing portfolio of slot games, instant-win games, and scratchcards. Your work plays a critical role in delivering a reliable and enjoyable experience for players, while also upholding regulatory compliance and safeguarding the integrity of our gaming platform. You’ll help establish and continuously improve QA practices that make our games robust, testable, and ready for release in regulated markets.

Your tasks:

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites tailored for slots, instant-win games, and scratchcards, while performing manual testing during development and release phases.
• Define and evolve test strategies that address the unique challenges of game testing — including animations, UI responsiveness, game state complexity, and random outcomes.
• Collaborate with Game Developers, Game Designers, and Artists in a creative and agile environment.
• Maintain structured test documentation, including test plans, bug reports, and regression checklists.
• Execute cross-device and cross-browser testing to validate performance, consistency, and responsiveness across platforms.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support certification-related QA tasks such as preparing test evidence or assisting with audits for relevant jurisdictions (especially Germany). Prior knowledge is a plus, but can also be acquired on the job.
• Advocate for a player-first quality mindset, helping the team prevent critical issues that could impact the game experience or platform reputation.

What you offer us:

• Practical experience in testing online games, ideally including slot games, scratchcards, or instant-win mechanics. iGaming industry experience is highly desirable.
• A solid understanding of game testing challenges, including randomness, animations, math models, and edge-case scenarios.
• Familiarity with basic probability and mathematics used in slot game design (e.g., RTP, volatility, win frequency) is a strong plus.
• Proficiency with Playwright and TypeScript or similar frameworks for frontend automation.
• Experience in manual exploratory testing—you know how to think like a player and uncover hidden issues.
• Understanding of QA standards and compliance requirements for regulated markets (e.g., Germany, UK, MGA).
• Strong collaboration skills and a proactive mindset—you’re ready to take ownership of quality in a fast-moving team.
• Strong English skills are required for collaboration within the team.
• Fluency in German is a nice-to-have.
