Your team Join a team of 20 dedicated Software, DevOps, and QA Engineers who work remotely or at our offices in Berlin and Munich. You'll work closely with Noxtua's technical lead, AI Team, and our external consultants. Together, this group makes sure our development teams have what they need to build and keeps our AI applications running smoothly as we grow. You'll be part of the QA Chapter, sharing your Quality Assurance experience across multiple cross-functional teams.

Your Hiring Manager Simon is heading the Engineering Team (Development, Infrastructure, and Quality). With more than 15 years of experience in software development, he is an advocate for product driven development, solving real life problems.

Your responsibilities

As a Senior QA Engineer (f/d/m), you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive manual and automated testing. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and UI designers to define and implement test strategies, perform end-to-end testing, and develop test automation. By taking ownership of the testing process, you will ensure a seamless user experience through improved test coverage, streamlined release cycles, and optimized deployment workflows.

• Design and execute end-to-end tests, taking responsibility for the implementation.
• Utilize and expand test automation tooling to improve test automation coverage and speed up the release process.
• Reproduce and investigate complex issues reported by users.
• Support the setup and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Focus on expanding test automation tools, frameworks, and utilities.
• Communicate closely with your teammates to find optimal solutions.
• You will help ensure the quality and reliability of a legal AI product used in real-world decision-making.

About you

• A good understanding of software architecture and development patterns, and willingness to engage with developers to help them build software that is easier to test.
• Experience in test automation, identifying high-value areas for automation and implementing solutions with Playwright, pytest or similar frameworks.
• The ability to write code in at least one language, preferably TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong attention to detail, a hands-on approach, and curiosity about new challenges.
• Proficiency in defining test strategy QA process ownership, and integration testing, ensuring high test coverage and structured workflows.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management, using Jira or similar tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Previous experience with observability and performance metrics is a plus.
• Work permit: Valid EU work authorization.
• Residence: Based in the EU.
• Language: Fluent English.
