We are looking for Senior QA Engineers across different teams and take an active role in shaping our QA strategy and processes. You will also be responsible for the improvement of delivered features to production, reducing the number of user complaints and ensuring that the product delivered has top-notch quality. One of the main goals of the team is preventing bugs that have the potential to impact production environment and affect sales / crucial functionality times.

Two of the potential teams we are hiring for are:

Integrations team,

At the core of our operations, there is a seamless interaction with many external APIs, supported by a robust cluster housing thousands of microservices. With a specialized focus on the Ruby ecosystem, we handle both synchronous and asynchronous communication on a large scale. Our expertise extends to ensuring fault tolerance and monitoring system health and performance.

Platform team,

Our Platform team enables the functionality of a booking system, including booking orchestration, invoicing, ticketing, and more. The tech stack consists of multiple services. For smaller business domains, we use dedicated microservices in Grape and Ruby, and for the bigger ones, we have services in Ruby on Rails.

What you'll do

• Design and develop an automated testing framework from scratch

• Integration testing, e2e testing, functional testing, regression testing

• Microservices and API cases (Postman, SOAP, REST)

• Create test case scenarios for manual and automation testing

• Develop manual test case scenarios and execute them

• Autonomously investigate and propose new methods to improve the Quality Assurance processes

• Report and record all discovered errors/bugs

• Work closely with cross-functional teams in order to deliver the tasks on time and with the expected quality.

Workplace:

We are aiming to hire a professional based out of Germany or Europe. We are a remote-first company with colleagues based around the Globe.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in software test automation, including experience in developing automation scripts using programming languages such as JS/TS, Python or Ruby
• Experience using frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, JEST
• Confident knowledge of methodologies, development, and testing process software
• Experience in testing API integrations (Postman, SOAP UI, REST API, Swagger)
• Understanding of data representation technologies: JSON, XML
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (advantage, GCP preferred)
• Experience in operations process design, execution, and best practices
• Good knowledge of test design, testing theory
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
