Zusammenfassung

Avenga is seeking a Senior Project Manager (f/m/x) to lead complex banking projects. You will define scope, timelines, and resources, promoting stable Scrum/Kanban flows and guiding external consulting teams in Flight Levels and agility metrics.

You bring 7+ years of PM experience in financial services, strong analytical skills, and hands-on Jira/Confluence/SpiraPlan expertise. You will collaborate with bank stakeholders to align work with strategic goals and ensure compliant software

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager (f/m/x) to join our team. The client operates in the banking sector and supports organizations of various scales.

This is you

As a Senior Project Manager (f/m/x) you will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. You will also create strategies to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.

• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager

• Strong working experience with credit institution, financial services institution or securities institution

• High level of coaching and facilitation competence

• Analytical thinking for identifying and structuring complex issues

• Ability to develop innovative solutions

• Independent and autonomous working style

• Willingness to collaborate with the bank’s employees

• Knowledge of Flight Levels and OKR framework

• Hands-on experience with agility metrics

• Profound experience in analysing and implementing banking requirements in application systems

• Knowledge of requirements management applications such as Jira, Confluence and SpiraPlan

• Familiarity with modelling languages such as BPMN, UML or eEPK

• Knowledge of portals used to manage promotional lending business or Java-based web applications

• Basic knowledge of managing small and medium-sized projects or sub-projects

• English – Upper-intermediate or higher

• German – Advanced

Nice-to-have skills:

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Business Information Systems, or a comparable qualification such as BA or VWA, or professional experience in a comparable environment
