In this role, you will contribute to the successful planning and approval of renewable energy and energy infrastructure projects, including substations, underground and overhead cables, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and hybrid energy systems. Working closely with developers, authorities, engineering teams and environmental specialists, you will support the permitting process and help accelerate the delivery of projects that are critical to the energy transition.
As a Project Manager for Energy Infrastructure with a focus on German permitting, you will support the planning and approval of renewable energy plants and grid-related infrastructure, including substations, underground and overhead cables, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and hybrid energy systems. You will contribute to navigating Germany’s permitting landscape (including BImSchG, EnWG, NABEG and BauGB) and support the coordination of approval processes required for the development of energy infrastructure projects. Working closely with authorities, developers, TSOs/DSOs, engineering teams and environmental specialists, you will help ensure that projects progress efficiently through the permitting phases. This role provides the opportunity to work on complex energy transition projects while further developing expertise in regulatory processes, project coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration.
