Infineon Technologies in Munich seeks a Senior Project Leader Product Development to drive high-voltage MOSFET development (Si, SiC) within the Research & Development team. You will manage R&D projects end-to-end, coordinate a global team (EU, US, APAC), and lead cross-functional groups to ensure milestones are met with solid documentation and reporting.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Drive the product development for high-voltage MOSFETs (Si, SiC)
• Manage product development projects end-to-end, including planning, reporting, and documentation
• Align and coordinate project requirements within a worldwide distributed team (EU, US, APAC)
• Lead cross-functional product development teams, ensuring clear targets, effective work package distribution, and strong team motivation and focus
• Establish and manage the team and meeting structure to enable fluent and constructive communication with team members and project stakeholders
• Manage project risks and guide the team through problem-solving and escalation situations
• Moderate discussions of technical experts using your functional knowledge to drive the best decisions for the project
• Take responsibility for project success, including tracking milestones and overall project targets

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• A degree in Electronics, Microelectronics, Physics, or a similar field
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor field (work experience or related PhD), with solid knowledge of semiconductor devices and power switches (device physics of Si or SiC)
• Experience as Project Manager for R&D projects (incl. at least one project from start to closure) is a plus
• A formal Project Management certification or relevant training is a plus
• Team player with leadership skills and flexibility to deal with changes during projects
• Ability to work in a well-structured manner, including identifying and managing risks appropriately
• Good, structured presentation and documentation skills
• Knowledge of Infineon’s power switch technologies and product portfolio is an advantage
• Excellent English communication skills; German skills or willingness to learn German is a plus
