As a Senior Project Engineer (m/f/d), you are responsible for the independent planning of manufacturability, design, and optimization for the ramp‑up of series components, as well as ensuring the cost‑efficient and high‑quality execution of series projects and components in production. In this role, you make a significant contribution to increasing efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the further development of processes and quality standards, as well as supporting the acquisition of new projects.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Planning and engineering of series components, including technical design and support during implementation, ensuring products and processes are ready for series production
• Preparation of cost calculations, quotations, and technical evaluations, including manufacturability assessments
• Responsibility for optimizing manufacturing and process costs, as well as reducing lead times from an economic perspective
• Handling of complaints and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Ensuring, maintaining, and further developing the quality management system
• Promoting interdisciplinary collaboration with design, procurement, production, logistics, and quality assurance
• Supporting existing customers and actively developing new customer relationships

Show your expertise

• Completed degree in Process Engineering, Manufacturing or Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Strong expertise in project management and project execution; project management certification (e.g., IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2) is an advantage
• Solid technical know‑how in plant engineering, ideally including stainless steel piping systems
• Knowledge of welding and process engineering (e.g., for gases and media)
• Experience with quality and safety standards; knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is desirable
• Structured, process‑ and solution‑oriented working style with a high level of personal responsibility
• Strong communication skills, team orientation, and a clear customer focus
• Very good written and spoken English skills
