Zusammenfassung

Staffbase is seeking a security-focused engineer to join our Product Security team in a hybrid setup. You will own security automation tasks, enhance vulnerability detection, and help secure our SaaS platform across CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.

You will work with TypeScript, Kubernetes, and Terraform/Kustomize in a global product environment, collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen our security posture and tooling.

Qualifikationen

• Practical knowledge of security topics (e.g. penetration testing, secure software development, vulnerability management, SAST, DAST).
• Strong programming skills in one of: TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go, or Python.
• Practical knowledge of Unix and Kubernetes infrastructure, preferably managed via Terraform and Kustomize.
• Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus).

• Maintain our outbound e‑mail security by regularly reviewing the related metrics.
• Maintain our Web Application Firewall ruleset.

• Maintain our central HTML sanitization service written in TypeScript.

What You Need To Be Successful
