We are seeking a strategic and technically savvy Product Owner to lead the development of our backup and data recovery product line. This role will manage 2–3 agile backlogs across cross-functional teams, driving product delivery that meets customer needs and aligns with business goals.

You'll work closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Support, and go-to-market teams to define and prioritize features, ensuring our solutions remain robust, scalable, and secure. We are following more of a Kanban-based process, and you should expect daily status meetings with the Customer.

Job Description

• Own and manage multiple product backlogs, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment with strategic objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and organize product roadmap and success metrics
• Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that translate customer needs into actionable development tasks
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release coordination across agile teams
• Partner with Engineering to evaluate technical trade-offs and ensure timely delivery
• Analyze customer feedback, usage data, and market trends to inform product decisions
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and enterprise security standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Owner or Product Manager in a software development environment
• Proven experience managing multiple agile backlogs and working with distributed teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management

• Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and data protection technologies
