Unique AI is building a secure generative AI platform for the financial sector. We seek a Product Engineer who drives features from design to production, collaborating with Product and Design to ship high-quality frontend and backend solutions.

You will own end-to-end delivery, translate ambiguous problems into concrete plans, and build scalable, secure experiences with performance and accessibility in mind. Berlin-based with remote days, a modern, transparent culture offers autonomy and growth.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in a software engineering role, preferably SaaS
• Track record of significant impact on product or team
• Strong full-stack abilities with a modern, typed web stack (TypeScript, React/Next.js, NestJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL)
• Product mindset: translate ambiguous problems into scoped, shippable increments
• Ownership across frontend, backend, and everything in between
• Fluent in English
• Strong communication with stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent
• Nice to have Generative AI/LLM surfaces, enterprise SaaS, fintech, cloud-native (Kubernetes/Azure)

• Own features end-to-end: from design collaboration with Product and Design through building, shipping, and iterating in production
• Turn ambiguous customer problems into clear technical plans and incremental deliveries that reach users fast
• Build and evolve user-facing experiences (chat, knowledge, admin, and related surfaces) with a high bar for performance, accessibility, and security
• Design and implement backend capabilities (GraphQL APIs, services, data models, integrations) that are typed, testable, and maintainable
• Instrument, observe, and improve shipped features using real metrics and user feedback
• Grow the team's capacity through code review, shared patterns, documentation, and helping others do their best work

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product, including:
• A track record of significant impact your work had on the product and/or the team
• Strong full-stack ability with a modern, typed web stack — we use TypeScript, React/Next.js and NestJS with GraphQL and PostgreSQL, but if you've excelled with a different stack and learn quickly, that's fine
• A genuine product mindset: translating ambiguous problems into scoped, shippable increments and delivering real value to users
• Comfort with end-to-end ownership across frontend, backend, and everything in between
• Languages: Fluent in English (our working language)
• Communication: Strong communicator with ability to work with technical and business stakeholders, and to communicate clearly when navigating ambiguity
• Ownership mindset: bias to ship, iterate from feedback, and raise the bar on UX and reliability
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Nice to have experience/skills: generative AI / LLM product surfaces, enterprise SaaS, fintech, accessibility, or cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes/Azure)
