Zusammenfassung

PORR AG seeks a Senior Procurement Manager to lead and govern procurement strategy for large data center construction projects. You will oversee long-lead equipment procurement, subcontract tendering, supplier risk management, and commercial alignment to support project delivery.

You will mentor procurement staff and collaborate with Legal and Commercial teams on terms and risk allocation while driving value engineering and supplier diversification across programmes.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in procurement, supply chain, commercial management, engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience in construction or engineering projects.
• Experience in data center, mission-critical, industrial, energy, or MEP-heavy projects strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English; German or Polish language skills advantageous.

• Develop package procurement plans with commercial, technical, planning, and project teams.
• Management of procurement for major subcontract packages and long-lead equipment.

• Management of procurement reporting, approval routes, tender audit trail, and supplier performance monitoring.

• Escalation of procurement issues affecting cost, schedule, quality, commissioning, or handover.

Your Tasks

PORR is expanding its data center activities and is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy for large data center construction projects. The role is responsible for procurement governance, package strategy, long-lead equipment, subcontract tendering, supplier risk, commercial alignment, and support to project delivery.

• Leadership of project procurement strategy and procurement governance


• Development of the package procurement plan with commercial, technical, planning, and project teams


• Management of procurement for major subcontract packages and long-lead equipment


• Leadership of supplier engagement, tender strategy, negotiation, and recommendation for award


• Coordination of procurement risk management for programme-critical packages


• Management of procurement reporting, approval routes, tender audit trail, and supplier performance monitoring


• Collaboration with Legal and Commercial teams on terms, risk allocation, and contract conditions

Your Profile

• Degree in procurement, supply chain, commercial management, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline


• Minimum 10 years' procurement experience in construction or engineering projects


• Experience in data center, mission-critical, industrial, energy, or MEP-heavy projects strongly preferred


• Strong knowledge of subcontract procurement, long-lead equipment, supplier risk, and negotiation


• Experience with MEP packages such as switchgear, UPS, generators, chillers, transformers, or BMS desirable


• Good commercial awareness and understanding of contract risk


• CIPS or equivalent procurement qualification desirable


• Fluency in English; German or Polish language skills advantageous
