ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the platform engineering team at an AI platform and product studio, where you will build and own the production foundations behind AI products.

Your work will help the platform stay reliable, performant, and clear to operate as usage grows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and operate platform foundations that connect external data sources and bring together real-time context from multiple systems.
• Develop reliable streaming responses and route LLM requests across providers with fallback and cost-control logic.
• Monitor latency distributions, costs, and error rates, then use those signals to address issues proactively.
• Improve platform performance and reliability under production load.
• Make sound system design choices, adding structure where useful while keeping solutions simple and maintainable.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 3 years of experience in backend engineering roles.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, APIs, queues, and caching.
• System design experience and the ability to reason about performance, latency, and cost.
• Experience with instrumentation and observability, including gathering data when it is not readily available.
• Experience owning production platform foundations, ideally involving external data sources, real-time context, streaming, or LLM integrations.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual salary range: €60,000 to €90,000.

Hybrid role based in Munich, Germany.
