XpertDirect, a growing B2B SaaS company in Berlin, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to help build and evolve the shared cloud platform used by multiple product engineering teams.

You’ll work across Kubernetes, AWS, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and developer tooling to provide engineers with a reliable and consistent way to build, deploy, and operate their services. This role emphasizes automation, Go and/or Python, and strong observability across cloud infrastructure.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, or a similar role.
• Go and/or Python experience is required.
• Linux and cloud-native infrastructure expertise.
• Strong understanding of distributed production environments.

• Build and evolve shared platform infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes.

You'll work across Kubernetes, AWS, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and developer tooling, helping create a platform that gives engineers a reliable and consistent way to build, deploy, and operate their services.

What You'll Work On

• Build and evolve shared platform infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes
• Design scalable, reliable environments for multiple product engineering teams
• Develop platform tooling and automation in Go and/or Python
• Build and improve CI/CD and GitOps workflows
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment management
• Improve Kubernetes reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Create reusable platform components and engineering standards
• Improve observability across cloud infrastructure and services
• Reduce manual operational work through automation and self-service tooling
• Support engineering teams with deployment, infrastructure, and production challenges
• Help shape the technical direction and architecture of the platform as the company scales
