We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support the successful delivery of major data centre projects across Germany and Europe.
This role will focus on developing, maintaining, and managing integrated project programmes throughout the full project lifecycle, from design and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover. Working closely with project directors, construction managers, and client stakeholders, you will provide accurate planning analysis, performance reporting, and programme leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.
We are currently seeking candidates based in Frankfurt, Germany, or surrounding areas and willing to commute to project sites as required.
You are an experienced construction planner with a strong understanding of complex MEP installations and mission-critical project delivery. You thrive in fast-paced environments and understand how effective planning can positively influence project performance, productivity, and client satisfaction.
You enjoy working closely with project delivery teams, regularly engaging with site operations, validating progress on-site, and collaborating with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure programme targets remain achievable.
You are analytical, detail-oriented, and confident presenting planning information to senior stakeholders while maintaining a practical and solutions-driven approach to project delivery.
5-10+ years of experience in construction planning, project controls, or scheduling within Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, or MEP projects.
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 with a strong understanding of critical path analysis, schedule development, and programme optimisation.
Experience developing and managing baseline schedules, progress updates, recovery programmes, and project reporting.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning activities, procurement tracking, and project execution strategies.
Experience using Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), earned value analysis, and project controls methodologies.
Ability to identify programme risks, analyse schedule impacts, and provide mitigation strategies to support project delivery.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present complex planning information clearly and effectively.
Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating programme information across various contractors and subcontractors.
A proactive attitude towards innovation, technology, and continuous improvement within the construction industry.
Develop and maintain detailed integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
Monitor project performance against programme milestones and critical path activities.
Produce weekly and monthly planning reports for internal and client-facing stakeholders.
Lead schedule review meetings and provide programme recovery recommendations where required.
Coordinate planning activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
Conduct progress validation through regular site visits and engagement with project teams.
Support risk management activities through schedule analysis and what-if scenario modelling.
Assist project leadership teams with forecasting, resource planning, and project controls initiatives.
Ensure programme compliance with contractual requirements and project delivery objectives.
