Renesas Electronics in Germany seeks an experienced electronics engineer to perform layout and verification of schematics, manage external PCB manufacturing, and coordinate cross-functional reviews with Applications, Quality, and Design. You will support component library development and ensure hardware test setup compatibility.

The role requires hands-on PCB design expertise, experience with Altium or Cadence, and strong English communication in an international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree in electronics or equivalent
• Experience with complex mixed-signal multi-layer PCBs
• Strong knowledge of modern PCB design, manufacturing processes and assembly technologies
• Experience with automated test equipment and hardware verification tools
• Excellent organizational skills with international, cross-functional collaboration
• Strong written and verbal English communication; vendor interaction experience

Aufgaben

• Perform layout and verification of provided schematics and the layout
• Manage external PCB manufacturing and assembly including quotes and purchasing
• Organize PCB layout review meetings with Applications, Quality, and Design
• Support component library development for internal PCB design tools
• Check technical drawings for tester, prober, and handler production setup compatibility
• Track project status and address deviations in schedule or technical issues
• Address supplier quality issues, request and verify CARs, track supplier KPIs
• Verify hardware optically and electrically using ATE systems and bench board checkers
• Create probe card analyzer recipes and board checker programs for electrical inspection
• Maintain and repair hardware boards and sockets
• Create incoming and outgoing verification reports and manage hardware shipments

Qualifications

• Experience with complex mixed signals multi-layer PCB´s
• Strong knowledge of modern PCB design, manufacturing processes, and assembly technologies
• Experience with automated test equipment and hardware verification tools
• Advanced organizational skills with proven experience in international and cross-functional team environments
• Self-motivated and collaborative team player with strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal customers
