Zusammenfassung

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Senior PCB Design & Hardware Verification Engineer to drive layout and verification of complex PCBs and support external manufacturing workflows.

You will collaborate with Applications, Quality and Design teams across international borders, ensuring high-quality hardware and reliable test methods using ATE systems and bench checkers. Proficiency in Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro is desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree in Electronics or equivalent.
• Experience with complex mixed-signal multi-layer PCBs.
• Strong knowledge of PCB design, manufacturing processes, and assembly.
• Experience with automated test equipment and hardware verification tools.
• Excellent organizational skills in international and cross-functional environments.
• Fluent English communication, verbal and written.
• Ability to communicate with vendors and internal customers.

Aufgaben

• Perform layout and verification of provided schematics and layout.
• Manage external PCB manufacturing & assembly including quotes and purchasing flow.
• Organize PCB layout review meetings with Applications, Quality, and Design.
• Support component library development for internal PCB Design tools.
• Check technical drawings for tester, prober, and handler production setup compatibility.
• Track project status and escalate deviations from schedule and technical issues.
• Address quality issues to suppliers, verify CARs, and track supplier KPIs.
• Verify hardware optically and electrically using ATE systems and bench checkers.
• Create probe card analyzer recipes and board checker programs for electrical inspection.
• Maintain and repair hardware boards and sockets.
• Create incoming and outgoing verification reports and manage hardware shipments.

Job Description

• Perform layout and verification of provided schematics and the layout

• Organize PCB layout review meetings together with internal functions like Applications, Quality, & Design
• Support component library development for the internal PCB Design tools
